How did car radios devolve into the useless lumps of shit we have today? This one has a graphic EQ, fade/balance controls and aux input, ALL on the front panel, not deep down in some settings menu. Tactile analog controls are the best. I can change settings without taking my eyes off the road.

Truthfully though the issue seems to be presenting itself mainly around 110-130k miles. So if you fix it and get another 110-130k miles out of the motor, that's probably all you really need anyway. You'd be lucky to go 260k on even a Honda or Toyota.
