VW Passat is the ultimate salesguy car.  Plenty comfy for tall people, shockingly large back seat, nice driver, efficient.  Panasonic used to hand them out to the entire sales team.

Seven grand for reliable, low-milage transportation is great.  Add in the fun factor, and this is a no brainer.  NP.

I’ve had two Odysseys, which were awesome. I now have a Suburban. If you’re putting several teenagers and their stuff in there, the Suburban has much more comfortable seats (2-3" wider) and more storage.

Because if you have a large family and want to tow something of substance, you need a Suburban, and you probably don’t have money for a dedicated tow vehicle.

This is exactly what I was thinking.  Personally, I’m not a big fan of paying interest on depreciating assets (let’s pay extra for something that is worth less every second!), but good luck talking gearheads in to fiscal responsibility....

I wonder what it would be like to have a conservative president - one that just stays the heck out of areas where they aren’t welcome.  I’m not sure we’ve tried that in a long time.
