If this is along the lines of what you mean, then I agree: Man hits a certain age and has a midlife crisis. Sees his wife his own age as no longer a “trophy wife” for him. Man divorces his supporting wife of decades and takes up with a woman far younger who he sees as better for his image and who he wants to show off

Yeah, I don’t understand it. Do these men think that women’s eyelashes just somehow grow in naturally longer, darker and thicker than theirs, or that our eyelids just come in different colors or something?

Thanks. Maybe I’ll look for a class.

This is sounding good. How many times a week do you take classes, and how long are they?

All the trolls on this thread are freaking me out. “Boys will be boys. What’s wrong with that? You mean it’s not normal for a 15-year-old to have sex with 25 boys in a high school bathroom while one or more of them films it? But boys have sexual needs, so what else were they supposed to do?” It’s sickening.

Same. I think as far as snack bars go, they’re pretty good. I bring them with me when I travel.

I shouldn’t be, but I am in amazement over “If she were a man and she was the way she is, she would get virtually no votes.” If Trump honestly believes the things he says, he is truly delusional. Does he really think that ANYONE would tolerate the things he says and does if he were a woman? Even his most rabid fans

Athleta has some styles available in tall. It looks like they start around $59, though.

Have you tried Athleta? They have a lot of styles and options. My favorite suits have come from VS and Athleta.

I think she’s probably had work done of some kind, too...but what? I can’t tell at all!

Yeah, and since the title of “paralegal” isn’t regulated on a national level I think it would also vary depending on your experience and background. Some firms I work with have “secretary/paralegals.” I assume those salaries would likely be lower than someone with a degree in paralegal studies and/or a lot of prior

Yes, other people think that if you don’t think it’s funny, you must just be pretending to not think it’s funny but you actually do. So we really think it’s funny and we are pretending not to so that we can appear to be “above it”? What?

I first heard of the video earlier today and just watched it five seconds ago. I was expecting something cute or funny...and to me, this was more like the type of thing that only seems funny if you’re friends the people involved, but not to anyone else. And I see there are posts from other people not understanding why

I had a friend who became very into Ayn Rand and Objectivism, and she did indeed slowly transform into a selfish asshole. She began to refuse to return any favors anyone had done for her because “selfishness was a virtue, therefore there was nothing wrong with that.”

May I second this? “Frustrating to see women come forward with their past only to be shot down, not believed & disrespected for their bravery in taking action”—Haven’t many of us felt like this before? I think Demi was feeling frustrated and tweeted that. What’s the problem? People are critiquing her posts and this

Yes, I personally find all this “white privilege!!!” talk to be a little excessive. If someone doesn’t like her music, fine. But coming from a well-off family does not equal becoming a massively successful singer, actor, etc. just because that’s something you want. If you can’t sell albums, they’re not going to hire

Agreed...This article seems kind of unnecessarily snarky.

Same here! It was great.

IMO, one of the best parts was also the reimagination of Dirty Dancing during Weekend Update.

I agree that people should pick a leader based on qualifications and integrity. But I also think that leaders of a country should reasonably reflect the population of the country they serve. Given the history of slavery and racial discrimination in the US, and that we’d never before had a black president, I wouldn’t
