Look, I love everything about the show that’s been mentioned here — and great point about Rufus’ jokes mostly coming from fear. But can we admit that the entire mythology plot makes absolutely no sense? You can’t say, “I’m going to send people back in time to make the South win the Civil War and then I’ll”— you’ll

When we bought our house the last owners left 3 cable boxes in the basement and I had no use for them. I tossed them up on a local classified site for free because I just wanted them gone and I was getting emails begging for then or offering money if they could have them. Blew my mind.

We moved last year from a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house we had lived in for 7 years to a 1 bedroom, 1 bath w/”study” (very small room 8'x8'), so we had to downsize...a lot.

There’s one website I use for my job that still runs on IE 7 protocols. When I asked them about compatibility with Chrome, the tech support didn’t know what I was talking about. So every time I use their website, I have to manually bump my IE 10 into compatibility mode to download the .xls spreadsheets. Then I have to

But do the costs of shipping and eBay/PayPal fees really make it worth it?

In those cases, at least try to find a “freecycle” group. I found folks will take almost anything as long as it is free. I got rid of alot of my late parents stuff that way, though I did worry a bit that I was contributing to someone elses hording problem.

I’m shocked at somethings people will buy. But I use Craigslist.

When I left my last job I was required to give back all the stuff I bought with my professional development funds (basically computers, tablets, and tech stuff). My employer just warehouses what you give back for years and then eventually destroys it, so I ended up just buying broken versions of my purchases off eBay

The time expense to collect, photograph, list and carefully ship 32 cardboard toilet paper rolls, minus the cut Paypal takes and the cut eBay takes, not accounting for any issues that might arise in shipping something so fragile... yeah, no.

I sell them as organic biodegradable 100% recycled power cable management ducting, $9.99 for a six pack. Supplies are limited. Delivery usually takes 2-3 weeks.

But don’t let it get in your way of cleaning up. You are better off trashing something than putting it in a box to put on ebay and 6 months later, you have 4 boxes of ebay stuff adding stress to your life because it is yet another thing you need to do.

Sell it, yes. On eBay, no.

Another option is to look on Facebook and look for local “garage sale” groups (which is basically selling your junk/other’s treasure within a FB group). For selling and buying...pretty simple (message seller, agree to price, pop it under a doormat or in mailbox and they leave it outside for porch pick-up...aka “ppu”).

Seperate but related point to this article, producing lower quality work when you are fed up also builds bad habits. This happened to me in my last job. When I started my current job, I had to break those habits, which as we all know can be tough.
