If my wife and I make a combined 200k per year, does that mean we would also not see the child tax credit?

That might possibly be one of the best descriptions of the Mazda 5 that I’ve ever seen.
I mean, I was joking, but I will admit that I have bought cars cheaper than my wife’s ring. That’s part of being a Jalop.
Oh yeah. But it does make for a fun joke. :)
Hah! I looked at the Alfa briefly (was checking out a Maserati). It’s a good looking car, but there’s no way I could fit my daughter’s rear facing child seat in the back seat.
Before the CV crisis, I was in the midst of car shopping for myself. And I’ve come to realize that it’s harder and harder for me to strip out the bias from various reviewers. They typically have the benefit of driving these cars and not spending the money. Or they compare models at new car prices and conditions, but…
I’m starting to think that people like you and me may not be Jalopnik’s target audience anymore.
I dunno man. Mini-vans aren’t cheap these days either!
Second most? Clearly somebody doesn’t love their wife enough.
This article tells me that I am truly “old” and may be outgrowing Jalopnik. While Erik isn’t wrong about some points, he’s basically describing buying a car like it’s an appliance: pick one out online that looks good and have it delivered.
Reading is hard sometimes.
Funny, my wife and I felt the same way about the Pilot and ended up with a Highlander. To us, the Pilot interior felt cheap, the ride was rougher over bumps, and overall fit and finish didn’t feel up to the same standards as the Highlander.
“This is a hard one, the airlines felt they were doing the right thing for their shareholders which is sort of what a business is supposed to do (as long as its ethical).”
1. “Doesn’t understand about an empty magazine and round in the chamber”. He ejected the round in the chamber first. And then mentions he thought the mag was empty, meaning another round would not have chambered. He clearly (erroneously) thought he was safe.
Maybe look into using the points for something like a class upgrade. When I broke my arm on a trip, I called Delta and used points to upgrade to first class for my return trip so that I didn’t have to worry about getting constantly bumped into by people boarding the plane. (I generally sit in aisle seats.) To this…
This! A friend of mine wrote a book. I bought it twice. First a hard copy and then later a digital copy for my Kindle so that I could read it on the go. I still haven’t read it (not a genre I prefer) but I gotta support a friend.
This right here is the correct take. This isn’t an evolution of the current 300 bhp motor. That family of motors still uses ancient technology and is effectively dead with the outgoing model. The FA series of motors is an all new series of motors that includes modern touches such as direct injection, and better…
I’m disappointed that I’ve never thought of this myself.
Don’t forget: in most states if you trade in a vehicle, you only pay sales tax on the difference. For example, say I traded in a car last year and the net difference between the two cars was about $3,000. So I only paid sales tax on $3,000 instead of sales tax on $30,000.
NP. Always had a soft spot for these. Like most Italian cars, the biggest issues with the car seem to be electrical, but there used to be a company that sold an upgraded electrical harness that was supposed to alleviate the electrical gremlins.
