84 seconds? All of my cars have to be changed through the fender liner. It will take me 84 seconds just to position the jack and get the car in the air.

It’s sadly true. :(
“I like SUVs because I can see over the other cars.”
Although I’ve stayed at some very fancy hotels over the years and have gotten a few nice freebies (chocolates for my birthday, the occasional on-the-house soda, snacks at check-in when I had status) the one that wins me over the most is one of the cheapest ones: free daily bottles of water. Any hotel that does that…
I stayed in a Homewood Suites for approximately the same amount of time, and got no such bucket! :(
That doesn’t really work for those of us who stream music from our phone. :)
The real challenge for Jalops is finding those cars that have the motor/transmission you want, but *without* all the bells and whistles!
I think the “b-roll” he was referring to was the low quality Grand Prix clip that was linked as a comparison.
She has driven a Hellcat on the street. There’s even video of it.
Right. I pull over. But how is being pulled over any different from being stopped at a red light, where it is apparently not OK to mess with your phone? :-P
Same here. I had an oddly shaped driveway with a steep dip in it in order to keep rain water from flowing into the garage. I used some pieces of 2 x 6 nailed together to help my 350Z cross the gap. And it got old quick. (I eventually permanently secured some wood over the gap. It negatively affected the water draining…
For every person that likes to complain about spoilers, there’s somebody like me who was happy to see the result posted up. I’ll watch the race itself when time permits, but I am glad that Jalopnik posted the race result yesterday morning so that I didn’t have to wait a day or two to find the time to watch the race.
I’m not sure if “really good” is how I would classify the looks of this car. It looks... well it looks like everything else out on the road right now.
Imagine my chagrin when I used Apple Pay at Party City today and had to sign on the little screen afterwards. My thumbprint on my phone isn’t enough?
I’ve found this to be more true in larger cities. Even if they do take cards, there’s something to be said for being able to dip out whenever you want at a particularly busy bar instead of having to wait 10 minutes to get your tab.
At what point do we tell them both to grow the **** up and learn to work together?
You must be a lot of fun at parties. :-P
Seriously, what’s up with those speed limits in Vermont? It’s not like there’s that many other people around in most of those rural areas? Are they trying to protect the moose or something?
This. I got thrown from a kart on a hot track a few years ago. The first thing I did was make a run to the grassy infield to get off the track. I didn’t know if the red flag had been flown yet or if everybody had seen it. It was a little while later that I discovered I had broken some bones in accident.
This. I always cringe when I hear a friend talk about buying a car based on the monthly payments they can afford and not what the car actually cost.
