I've found that the only people who can actually perceive this are the ones that didn't just drop over a grand on their amazing new 60" plasma.

I do so enjoy reading articles about why the proletariat should give a shit about corporate beauty pageants designed to woo positive press coverage for insipid television.

No Pod People? That one was my, and a lot of other people I know's first.

Prophet is terrific pulp science fiction with a dozen new (and often disgusting) ideas on every page. It's a book where I don't mind the frequent artistic changes because Brandon Graham has made it clear that each artist is assigned to a different thread running through the story.

Image's decision to release a bunch of creator-focused science fiction with no capes is the best one they've made in their entire history - MP, Prophet, and Saga are the only three books I'm currently buying monthly, and I have no compunction whatsoever about pushing them on people who wouldn't be otherwise inclined

Grant Morrison as head booker would probably be the only thing to draw me back to watching this regularly.

Despite him being the redneck version of Garth Ennis, Jason Aaron's Vertigo work is significantly better than his Marvel stuff with the exception of Wolverine and the X-Men, Ghost Rider, and PUNISHERMAX. His regular Wolverine solo book just struck me as the same old crap.

The first scene of The Adventures of Taken Across the Eighth Dimension had some of the most noticeably awful (read: awesome) fake movie phone talking that I've ever seen where he's talking to his daughter. It takes a lot to make an actor like Neeson sound awkward and forced.
