This would depend entirely on how it's implemented. Jezebel is a great site to take in some friendly women's issues and discuss in a fairly friendly manner (more so than other Gawker sites). If Jezebel offered a pink interface with big buttons then it would be blatantly insulting.

Apple's maps will be faster (vector based) which will be nice when you just need a map for less available bandwidth.

I don't think jobs was right, but I understand how he felt personally betrayed. If anything was wrong, it was the "friendship" between Apple and Google that shouldn't have been.
