She’s too perfect. It’s really not right for a ‘human being’ to be utterly perfect. She must have flaws...maybe she chews with her mouth open...or leaves crumbs on the counter when she makes a sandwich...something...

It reminds me of when Ferguson was in the news, and the media was treating it like it was some kind of small town near St. Louis. Uh...no. It’s a suburb in St. Louis County.

As someone has already pointed out, STL is not in the South. Not even close. I always felt STL had a more northern flavor, and KC feels more like the South, but both are actually in the Midwest.

Yeah...unfortunately, that’s not a huge surprise in Jeff Co. But I would say Jeff Co. is in no way representative of the St. Louis are.

Ummm...comfortable, yes. Flattering? No. Very young, thin, women can wear them and look good, but they hide the waist-hip contours in a way that doesn’t make the most of a more shapely figure.

I don’t know who will ultimately replace Slay as Mayor, but this race is certainly becoming interesting. That said, I can’t imagine Jones has a chance of winning.

I live in Kentucky also. (Louisville area.) I moved here from Missouri several years ago and I was horrified to see so many people here riding motorcycles without helmets. I don’t know...maybe it’s better to go without a helmet and risk killing yourself than to wear a helmet and risk becoming a burden on your family…

Sending good vibes her way and wishing her a speedy recovery. It’s horrifying to hear about any child injured in any way. And I hope that other parents in the area think twice before they let their young kids drive them. I know you can’t protect your children from everything, but some risks just don’t seem worth…

I understand that, and I’ve know people who used them responsibly to get around a wooded piece of property, which totally makes sense. Unfortunately, it seems like ATVs tend to bring out the dumbass in a lot of people. Or maybe that’s the liquor...

Don’t get me started on sledding. The last time I took my son sledding at a local park, a little girl crashed right into a tree and was taken away by ambulance. Yikes. But yes you should definitely be able to bail when things are looking dicey.

I know. My son’s friend down the street has one, and I try not to think about them jumping on it when he’s down there. I’m comfortable with a firm ‘no’ to ATV’s, but I’d feel like a like a total wet blanket saying no to a trampoline.

Oh...that would piss me off. If your parents took chances with you, fine. If you took chances with your own kids and they all go out alive, fine. But do NOT take chances with my kid without my permission.

To be clear, I’m not blaming her family. I can’t imagine how upset they must be, but I’ve known too many people who’ve been seriously injured on those things. They’re just not worth whatever fun you might have on them.

Do not allow your children to drive ATVs! They are so dangerous that actually no one should be driving them.

I was planning to make Philly Cheesesteaks...I wonder how it would go if I made the sandwiches sans cheese and made a couple of different cheese sauces to dip them in. That seems so wrong and so right all at the same time.

That’s a bummer, but I have to ask...is there some reason you thought that hellish sounding mixture was going to taste good? Or even not horrible?
