This movie came as a great relief to long-time Alan Partridge fans. I was really worried that the movie would be lame and basically end the character once and for all but it turned out very funny. With more Alan in the offing all I can say is cashback!.

Hollywood has become craven for awards of any kind. Back in the 60s and 70s half of the acting and directing nominees wouldn't even show up at the Academy Awards. Now everyone spends all of December-February going to award shows.

I wonder if there are some restrictions from Disney/Marvel that preclude Whedon from being able to utilize most of the Marvel universe. I don't expect to see Robert Downey Jr. doing guest parts but come-on, give us something.

It's apparent that this show is just not going to get any better. Huge missed opportunity.
