Sounds like this guys talents could have been used better in a more open country. I'm sure there are engineering firms that would love to hire this guy in the US, or even hired by defense companies to explain how he fended off 100 people with farm equipment.

@coketown: Actually worked on something at a research lab years ago that would actually work . It was designed to grab satellites to fix their orbits and such, and did not look like a robot at all, and had three arms and numerous different tools at the end of each arm...not humanoid at all, but designed specifically

@unwritten_law9: That would be a steal, it's easily 10,000 dollars per flight HOUR, not just the whole flight, for current fighter jets (F-15,F-18, F-16, etc.).

The aircraft is most definitely not going over Mach 1. It is caused by the aircraft being in a high angle of attack, and high load on the wings and the weather being moist and damp,
