It’s not really inertial per se - the system utilizes speedo and possibly steering angle sensor inputs to update position for a little bit when GPS isn't available, but I doubt it uses actual accelerometers to measure changes in velocity.

PTIDs.

Do remember that the E-2D can do just dandy in the BACN role, and has many of the capabilities of the more secret-squirrel USAF aircraft.

Fun Fact: The speed of RF transmissions, say, from a police vehicle to a dispatch centre then shortly to a helicopter, is exactly the same in the EU that it is in the US.

After the verdict, the Oregon State Police released a statement as reported by the Register-Guard, saying their office “is disappointed with the (trial) outcome and feels the actions of our troopers clearly did not violate established procedures or tactics. In situations like these, officers have milliseconds to make

“...F-15C/D’s new APG-63V3 Active Electronically Scanned Array radar is the most powerful in the world.”

Tee hee! That’s always been one of my favorite facts about the A-4. Gravity-powered slats never ceases to blow my mind.

First thoughts? I counted six cockpit instruments still currently in use, right now, in the year two-thousand-and-fifteen, fifty+ years after this plane was made, on the E-2C Hawkeye. Honestly, there are probably more. As an avionics tech, I recognize a lot of this stuff. If anybody has questions about what any of the

Huh. Even my Focus has a proper handbrake. And for that, Ford, I thank you.

Some of my UNREP experiences. The first three are from one and the last is from one about a month later. Note the water washing off the hangar gunwhales in the third picture; the wave action is pretty severe for two 80,000+ ton ships 140ft from each other.

White = If you don’t drive a car that looks good in any color, your primary concern is how long you can drive it without it looking dirty. Or you enjoy looking like you operate a government vehicle. Your favorite artist is probably Seal.

This Just In: We don’t need you to remind us that the world sucks. We get reminders every fuckin’ thirty seconds or so. But thanks for trying to make the world a little worse all on your own.
