And somehow you can recognize that but not see how the electoral college was the problem?
What can’t you understand that no one would win with 25% of the vote? Are you being willfully dense or are you just a moron? It could maybe happen in the first election, and that is a big stretch, and then never again because people can see the poll numbers, know their preferred candidate has no chance of winning…
I wrote a long response but if you need to know why you are wrong just look at the US Presidential elections in 1824 and 1828.
Let’s do a little hypothetical of an election without the electoral college.
A single vote, person with the most votes wins, system will always resolve itself into a 2 party system. The electoral college has nothing to do with that. Here is a nice simple video to explain it to you:

Expropriate the expropriators!
I don’t understand how people can be so certain there is no god. I mean, obviously there is no way to prove he/she/it exists, but there is equally no way to disprove it. I think if you don’t let your belief get in the way of science or use it to control others people’s lives there is nothing wrong with using faith as…
I was going for a science victory and accidentally won by culture on prince difficulty. Seems like the easiest method to me
Things little thing I think would have the biggest impact on my enjoyment of this game, in a very superficial way, is if districts had their appearance changed by your culture, the way cities in Civ 5 worked or the Palace and city center kind of do in 6. I’d like a Japanese campus to be visually distinct, in the…
The initial American economy was also agricultural based where England and France and Europe were more industrialized and therefore needed people to live near the factories where they worked.
Gandhi is still Gandhi, don’t worry about that.
