All of his business being unionized would be a good start, but beyond that, I think it’s fair to provide a constant reminder that Elon musk sucks ass and is representative of a class of rich people that love to invent a shittier wheel and call it “innovation”

Literally fuck off to the moon. Literally get into a rocketship and send yourself into the middle of the sun.

You’re fine with anything rich and powerful cishet white men do, as long as they do not literally grab at people’s genitals. Okay! Sounds totally rational! Definitely not trying to protect yourself from future consequences to your own actions!

Damn, when even Pelosi and the Post are coming down on you for something nutters are claiming is a Bernie Sanders Kremlin conspiracy, you know you fucked up.

Correction, we’re mad because we know the Dems WOULDN’T do this if given the chance, which they absolutely should.

Now playing

gosh, yeah, a seven-footer in the WNBA...........can’t imagine what that would be like...........

Press Presses Press Sec Into PR Disaster Re: PR Disaster

He’s wearing a shirt that has his own name on the front. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t care about the audience, just himself.

Didn’t say that. I responded to your bad faith argument about adding something to basketball that wasn’t there before by saying that items were part of the game, and part of how it was developed. Smash also lets you customize your ruleset, so you can play as you wish. It also allows Nintendo to set their tournament up

In card games players minimise the influence of chance through strategy.

Random chance shows up EVERYWHERE in competitive settings, and to suggest otherwise is asinine. If basketball had been designed from the very beginning to have baseball bats and fans drop from the ceiling, players would be expected to adapt; why should Smash be any different?

“Almost as if random chance doesn’t belong in a competitive setting.”

Key difference is that basketball wasn’t designed with those random balls and weapons.

This. This is just another bullshit example of fans thinking they own the thing they’re a fan of.

Conversely, it seems to me the esports community wants to have their cake and eat it too - they want that sweet, sweet Nintendo money and prestige, but don’t want to play by Nintendo’s preferred rules.

When will “competitive” smash players realize Nintendo wants basically nothing to do with their toxic little corner of the smash fandom?

Eh, Nintendo can do whatever they like. Its their game and if they organize tournaments its their choice how they need to be played. Even with the randomness of items a metagame can be arranged creating new tiers perhaps.

buddy,, they won’t even let me fuck the mace

States are completely arbitrary units, landmass shouldn’t count for anything when it comes to choosing a leader. The person who convinces the most people, people not area, should win.

Not a big fan of the Soulsbourne games myself, but I can understand where they’re coming from when the difficulty is kind of the point and then reviews try to make it out like it’s a bad thing. Like reviewing an MMO and citing one of the negatives as “you have to interact with other people sometimes”.
