I really want to move there and grab a condo downtown. Anyone I speak to purses their lips and says no, but anytime I chat about Detroit with folks who visit they seem to like the downtown area. Lots of young people, artists, etc like you mentioned.

It’s dirty, smells like urine and really, really dated. It really is not that special. The grounds are pretty but landscaping is nothing special when your home/architecture is falling apart and stuck in a time warp. So many more beautiful mansions in the area.
