I’ll agree that we’ve all become used to both bands of Radio being available. FWIW, in my 2014 car with HD Radio Sub-Channels, you can pick up some AM radio stations with far greater fidelity than the regular AM Band. I’d recommend looking into those sub-channels for your favorite AM stations.

Although not quite cheap enough for “What The Hell” Money, still it appears to be a fairly well-sorted example of a classic car, and suitable in a 3+ car garage. Wouldn’t ever consider it as a Daily Driver, though. Gas mileage would be lucky to break 18 on a good day, I figure.

Maybe the Chargers should just move to St. Louis where they’ve got a history of supporting a franchise, along with a perfectly good Football Stadium that the citizens of Missouri are still stuck paying for!

I’ve always been against the Star Spangled Banner as our national anthem because I feel that it’s about worshiping an Object, rather than the ideas, land, and people behind that object. Instead, I’d like to see a 4 song rotation of:

Worked at a Chevy dealer near home for a couple of months when first out of college. Pay structure was a Minimum wage for hours worked, 20% of the profit after deducting $500 from the cost of the car. No bonus from the F&I part of the sale, only getting your turn “up” from walk-ins. Of course any referrals from

BTW, what I’ve been doing for any One-Time transaction like selling a car is to create a unique e-mail address for it. With so many totally free Web-Based e-mail services, it would appear to be a No-Brainer. [ i.e. “my2003es300@yahoo.com” ]

I’m currently attempting to sell my car, and was contacted by a guy who wanted to know if I’m the original owner for a 14 year old car, and also if i had the Title or a Bill of Sale, for which he’d be happy to pay me via Pay Pal! Do these guys really think that people are that dumb?

Although Honda makes some very good engines, I’m not so sure about 140K (Admitted) on an engine which was repeatedly revved to 9000. CP!

My understanding is that you can get a replacement 5 or 6 speed transmission, putting aside the original 3 speed. Next, a thorough cleaning, along with a trip to the junkyard for replacement wheels, and you’ve got a decent runner.

Personally, I’d purchase a fairly large tract of land and build a track on it. Just like the one up in Monticello. Next, I’d go into the Exotic/Classic Used Car Business, so I could have an ever-rotating group of cars to take around the track.

I have a former colleague with a First Gen Stick xB, and it’s paid for, still runs well, holds all his family, and although its looking a little tired, he can’t see a reason to replace it, although he might pass it on to his now 11 year old kid when they’re ready.

I simply say: “I don’t like to do business over the phone. Please send me something in the mail that I can review at my leisure. If you call me as a follow-up, I won’t do business with you.”

Like I always say, there are lots of people out there with more Dollars than Sense. (Or $ than ¢ )

One more classic example of how to create a massive, costly PR problem instead of simply paying a small amount of $ and generating Goodwill!

1. “Productive Meeting” is what I use as an example of a “Modern Oxymoron” Others are: Friendly Divorce; Thoughtful Teenager; Family Vacation.

1964 - 1971 Midsize Convertible. Big enough to pile in and go to the beach together with. Plenty out there, but some in rougher shape. However, if the goal is a long-term project, there are plenty of reproduction parts available, and crate engines if the original is too far gone.

I’m saying that if you work for Ferrari, it might pay to get an Older, or High Mileage car that needs a bunch of parts, which you presumably could get at a reduced price compared to the regular public.

I think that the auction with the proceeds going to charity is the best possible method. Its not like these cars are essential for people’s lives, they are simply toys. In the long-term, they’ll be available for those willing to wait.

I had Ferrari of North America as a client 20 years ago. They only gave a Ferrari to the top guy as a company car.
