I have never - in any of the 10 or 12 jobs I’ve left - been allowed to finish out my 2 week notice. Not fast food or pizza gigs, not the white collar office jobs I have now.  There’s too much liability to keep someone on staff who wants to quit.  So I can’t fully blame Whataburger here.  This is the norm now.  

You’re somewhat on the right track but the last thing I want is police who don’t want to be police.  What we have now isn’t better mind you but neither is the complete opposite.  

Root canals are NOT as bad as everyone makes them out to be.  For mine, I was in SO MUCH PAIN before the root canal that I would have done anything to be free of it.  Be happy they caught yours and did it before the pain kicked in.  

I’m genuinely surprised by the level of tracking my state has!  My vote won’t matter (voting blue in a red state) so I’ll send it by mail and see what happens.

As part of my recent massive weight loss (around 170 pounds since June 2019) I get regular blood work and take specific vitamins based on the results.  I’m on D3, a multi and calcium.  

As a landlord, I don’t get it. I get WAY more money from my sub $60k houses than I do on my more expensive houses. Everything I have under $60k rents for at least $700 but a house for $120k isn’t going to rent for double, at least not here. I might get $1200 on that house.
