I too was a hold-out when it came to switching to CDs. I didn't get a CD player until 1994 or 1995. I am so not what marketing folks call an "early adopter."
I told this story in yesterday's WoT comments, so forgive me for repeating myself. My first record was The Monkees' Greatest Hits. My second was the Grease soundtrack. And when I say "record," I mean real honest-to-goodness vinyl!
I also didn't understand what the unifying theme was of the Squad Goals clues. But since all the category titles were related to memes, I figured it was some online thing that the kids are into these days.

For some folks, I think it's nostalgia. But for millennials, I think it's the novelty of always interacting with your friends in person. No internet, no cell phones, no texting, etc. Just hanging out with your friends face-to-face at their apartment or the coffee shop.
