This is a Canadian chain that recently opened their first American location in Chicago - https://badaxethrowing.com/. We could do a meet-up, and drink beer, and throw axes, just like Jason Momoa.

I'd really like to eventually live exclusively on my papier-mâché hats.

A Confederacy of Dunces

Oy, my blood pressure went up on that one! As I commented during the quarterfinals: City + Lake Michigan = Chicago. Unless the question mentions cheese or beer. Then it's Milwaukee.

In Soviet Russia, shark jumps you.

Oh good, I'm not the only one watching!

Channel Zero has been a pleasant surprise, and I'm looking forward to tonight's finale. Sometimes it's really creepy, sometimes it's outright scary.

Horror movies! My favorite genre! Really good ones that haven't been mentioned already:

Good choice! I saw that at a drive-in theatre. My first ever drive-in movie!

It was indeed a gutsy move, so I'm not even going to complain about it being too easy.

The first round was pre-empted here in Chicago by President Obama's press conference. Normally, I would complain about missing part of Jeopardy, but:

A long time ago, I made my living by selling handbags. That is absolutely not a satchel, but rather a messenger bag. A satchel has to have handles. Picture what an old-timey doctor carried when making a house call — that is a satchel.

Heartened, yes. Thank you! I am embiggened by improving my vocabulary.

A few things:

I am saddened by this news, but only because a lot of TV production people here in Chicago are now out of work. I am gladdened (is that a word?) by this news because I think Steve Harvey is a jackass.

A real live published author! Congratulations!

I firmly believe that the world would be a better place if everyone got laid more often. Especially the person with the nuclear codes. Gotta keep 'em happy. So Melania better hop to it! I almost feel sorry for her, but hey, she made her marital bed, now she has to lie in it.

My favorite line of the episode was used in two different scenes, by two different characters, with two different inflections.

I love that Asher is secure enough in his masculinity to parade around in Michaela's floral silk robe. He really is her woke bae. ;-)

The first warning put me on edge for the whole episode. My theory was that Thomas was going to stalk and sexually assault Oliver. When that didn't happen, it was a relief.
