People who think the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to give a good guy a gun have watched way too many movies.

The most recent published 990 for the NRA lists their total revenue at $336,709,238. Don’t forget that the NRA is a tax exempt nonprofit.

I saw a comment on twitter yesterday blaming liberals for not wanting to give teachers/school enough pay because of guns. I could understand their logic gymnastics and I didn’t screenshot the tweet because I threw my computer across the room in a fit of rage. But everything is the liberals fault.

The NRA is a 501(c)4 which is defined by the tax code as: Civic leagues, social welfare organizations and local associations of employees, created to promote community welfare for charitable, educational or recreational purposes.
