Purrrrrr. More bare chest, pls.
Purrrrrr. More bare chest, pls.
I actually like that Ross is an occasional shithead, though. Everyone’s a shithead every now and then.
I made this same face, but with drool.
Ummm who is watching this show to binge on the plotlines? Like, I tell myself I’m here for the analysis of class and gender and mining and whatnot, but I think we all know what I– a STRAIGHT WOMAN– is watching this show for.
Aidan Turner’s bare chest is a sign that we live in a universe with a kind and benevolent Goddess. The series is brilliant. Admittedly, Ross isn’t everything the series premiere makes him out to be—he’s shown to be hotheaded, entitled, unwilling to look beyond his own sense of righteousness—and seeing the female…
Her point about diversity in Hollywood is valid, but I don’t agree she should take it up with Wes Anderson. I always find it a bit disconcerting when people try to meddle in other people’s creative process. The problem isn’t that Wes Anderson doesn’t hire enough people of color — he’s gonna make the film he wants to…
I want Chris Hemsworth to be my secretary. It’d be just like the Belle & Sebastian song “Step Into My Office, Baby”...except consensual and stuff.
Is that a pentagram on your chest or are you just happy to see your DARK LORD?
More magic from Tara today.
The past week I’ve been asking myself why I feel like I’m failing, all the time, when in reality I’m a top performer at my computer, well known in the industry I work in, have a fantastic boyfriend and friendships and find time to exercise regularly and take up other activities (painting, volunteering, etc).
On what planet? Children are not a parent’s property. The father committed assault.
I don’t agree there’s really any situation where cutting a 13 year old girl’s hair against her will is reasonable. That’s a major violation of someone’s bodily integrity.
In what world is that reasonable? It is an act intended to humiliate someone. No one should intentionally humiliate their children. If you think this is reasonable discipline, I hope you aren’t responsible for any children.
Agreed. It may seem superficial, but my hair is a part of me, and not letting me be in control of my own body feels... dark. I feel really icked out by hair-cutting as punishment.
I just read through the comments section of the Tacoma Stories link and someone fairly close to the situation said that her father had threatened to put her up for adoption. If this is true, coupled with the hair cutting off incident, it paints a picture of an abuser who should be in jail.
Or how betrayed she would feel that her own father, a person who is supposed to love and protect her, would become a bully too? She must have felt like absolutely no one would support and protect her. How terribly sad.
If she was being bullied at school, it makes it so much worse that her own father would do this to her. Did it never occur to him that those same bullies would see this and use it against her? WTF!
It's like they have to remove all signs of "effort" that accompany the maintenance of a conventionally attractive body. Tan lines, razor stubble and visible makeup are all smoothed out. Curvy, bootylicious women can't have any of the little rolls of fat that come with maintaining their figure. Toned, athletic women…
I'm going to be completely honest and possibly pathetic and admit that I'm a grown up 30-year-old woman and I enjoy working out to stay strong and health, but I'm self-conscious of armpit meets pectoral muscle area because it looks like an imperfection to me. This is a perfect example of why. I feel sometimes like I…
