The MB G-Class is completely overpriced imo. The old ones were essentially a 30+ year old base with some upgrades and an engine swap. Sure the new one is a completely new vehicle, but I still don’t really get what justifies the $200k price tag (doesn’t mean I don’t want one though).

I would have gone with a different title :

I would have gone with a different title :

Driving down a highway on a Swiss mountain pass in my old 190E. In a curve, I suddenly find myself arriving at 135km/h behind a line of stopped cars on the left lane and not enough distance to allow braking to a full stop. I press the brakes hard, but the car is heavy with 4 passengers and their luggage. I press

Rented this 85hp Dacia Logan MCV from a car sharing site to pick up a set of wheels which I couldn’t fit in my MX-5. The Logan probably isn’t a great car under normal circumstances, but this particular one had 228.000km+ on the odometer and probably never had proper maintenance. It was whistling like a teapot. The

The garage where I bought my MX-5 NC sold me a set of winter wheels with it. Problem : you can’t fit one wheel inside the car. So they graciously kept them in stock for a year, until I started to feel bad about it and decided to rent a Dacia Logan MCV to go pick them up.

Sounds like you found Dartz a new mascot.

The previous gen of the Peugeot Partner/Citroën Berlingo still did that pretty shamelessly :

That’s the spirit ! *wink wink*

Or maybe we should give bad advice so people set their sights on uninteresting cars. For example :

With a different paint scheme maybe ? Because right now ...

It’s probably him. He just wanted to stay ananymous.

If it’s a brand I already know, it doesn’t change my perception of it just because it appeared on a race car.

However, I have to admit that it regularly makes me look up for brands I didn’t know, and on rare occasions, try it and see for myself. I discovered Speedhunters and Donut Media after seeing their stickers on

two grand per axle

At first when I heard that BBS was going bankrupt again, I thought it might get bought by some japanese wheel group like RAYS, Yokohama or Bridgestone. After all, BBS designs are still super popular on sedans/breaks/coupes in Japan, and it would be easier to directly sell BBSs than having to find a way to copy their

They can and actually, they already did.

I know this example with only 5000km has been for sale for about a year already. However it’s from 2001. I guess it can wait until 2026 to find a new owner ?

The new Citroën Ami’s left and right doors are the same part for cost-cutting reasons.
