I just want one that will keep me from jamming the keys when I type too quickly.

In-app purchases available, so you’re likely to spend well over 30 bucks.
Domain name availability.
It must’ve been wired by someone on Thomas Edison’s team rather than someone from George Westinghouse’s.
I switched my elderly mom, never one to be cautious in the kitchen, to countertop induction cookplates (which have an overtemperature shutoff). You’d have to try a lot harder than she’s capable of to start a fire with one of those.
I had a doozy of a kitchen fire not long ago, rather different from the usual ones. We have a gas range that plugs in (for the igniters & timer). The thin, flexible metal (hence, grounded) gas line from the shutoff valve (hidden between the range...) was close to the power cord. That ancient cord had become frayed…
How to avoid workshop injuries: plan everything so that you only need to use a laser cutter (with effective eye protection, of course). You’d have to try very hard to slice yourself up with one of those, and any wounds are self-cauterizing.
Not that it’s a brand name, but my most-hated mispronunciation is bay-ZHING, rather than bay-JING, for Beijing. And you can’t always count on transliterations for Chinese names, because Guangzhou (née Canton) is guang-JOH. Source: my mainland Chinese wife.
Plus, cast iron works on induction cooktops.
Are Field Notes covers made of PVC the way Moleskine’s are? (Googling this hasn’t given me a usable answer.) It would be nice if they could be laser engraved with destroying something or someone.

Spend your travel budget on a large-screen TV, a Blu-ray player, and lots of Nat Geo discs.
I’m glad you said that, blerg. I (a white guy) and my Japanese wife had a terrible time on our honeymoon on South Island because of racism. People shouted insults at us from passing cars, and we were ignored in restaurants. Never again, NZ.
People still get married? Whatever for?
You could laser etch lovely patterns into it. Put the etched side out to hide scratches, or in to make cleaning easier.
But that’s an effective way to clean (out) your kitchen, especially when you have unwanted guests.
I bought a domain name, and have it hosted with a provider that allows me unlimited forwarding aliases. I create a separate email “address” (forwarder) for each and every vendor I deal with, all forwarded to a single account that I check (vendors@mydomainname.com). Then I know 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 who is responsible for any…
I think I’m missing something about the benefits of Subscribe & Save. The price you pay for items is the current price when they ship which, since Amazon pricing is extremely volatile, is very unlikely to be the lowest. Instead, I track the pricing of the items I want using camelcamelcamel.com, and balance when I…
Would be nice, wouldn’t it? Then Alexa (Amazon Echo) could play it.
