Yeah it was a bit too much exposition for my tastes. I thought it could have been handled a bit more subtly than having them zoom in on her dumping stevia into her tea and then later have Walt outright tell her on the phone that she's dying from ricin poisoning.

right but you can still rob a store with a toy gun.  while it's unclear how effective walt's bluff will be once the news gets back to them of his death, they certainly were scared shitless at that particular moment in time.

exactly, I'm in agreement.  I found the finale to be very satisfying, but it's not really the "crowning jewel" of the series.  I don't forsee it being as memorable five years from now as LOST or The Sopranos endings were.

Yeah Dexter's finale was definitely more memorable.  BB's was more satisfying, but 5 years from now I'll still feel emotional about what happened with Deb while i'm unlikely to be all that upset about Lydia or Todd dying.

jail would be freeing compared to slavery with the overtone of murdering his loved ones

The LOST finale was very heartwarming.  I'm sick of people hating on it.  It may very well be my favorite series finale.

did you read the article?  she explained the reasoning

he buys his lumber from Dexter :D

Gilligan isn't Kubrick.  I respect both of them, but let's not try to lump them into the same category.

working from home is overrated

he's entertaining Huell, who is still waiting for Hank to return.

what about jesse doing woodwork?  maybe he buys wood from dexter's lumberyard.

I liked the opening scene too…having 80 million in barrels in the desert, a family who hates you, coworkers who stab you in the back, selling drugs and killing people…sure he "won" on some levels, but it was totally a phyrric victory.

lol I enjoyed this little recap, from todd's perspective

lol

lol good point, I loved Alias.

yes, i do think it's a grudge.

eh?

Clearly, you've not seen the "official Breaking Bad episode discussion" threads on Reddit's Dexter forum.  And you weren't around here reading the comments on last week's episode.

idk if I agree with that story, seems like the author was reading a bit much into Walt's last name and took it to imply some sort of racial thing.
