Pretty much any Ford from any era had some set of asinine problems that could have been avoided/corrected with little to no thought/effort.

Every Ford SUV of this era has the same crack in the hatch:

I CANT believe that you Jalops haven’t already come up with this. The lines of the SAAB 99/900/9-3. Epic, classic lines.

Thats the thing, tho. They look good, and theyre cheap, and “unique-ish,” but their market its car enthusiasts. Its standard issue “Adults” that want a car more fun than a minivan and that isnt as boring as a standard sedan of the same price, but still doesnt want a real sports car. With or without magnetic ride? 6sp? I haven’t drove one yet, but I feel these items would be key.

Funny you should mention the Park Avenue, because I believe the long-wheelbase version of the SS’ body (used by the Caprice PPV here in the ‘States) is sold as the Buick Park Avenue in China (which means Buick does still make large, RWD sedans).

In many racial discrimination cases, ethnicity is included.

True, mine is bone stock. My grandma actually drives a 2002 Z28 (also stock), and hers has been great to her. Not to say there isn’t a point to be made about some Camaro owners! I will admit that there is. But there are also definitely some that are quite reliable and safe to drive.

AMC Pacers went the same way with their marketing. They were the bigger, wider, taller compact car. Strange time indeed.

I guess they figured Americans were still getting used to subcompacts, and it would be reassuring to know the car wasn’t too small.

C’mon, where would we be without this commercial? Can you imagine a world where we did not have “grounded to the ground”? I wouldn’t want to live in that world.

Oh man, I just want to punch both of them.
