1) Rotaries aren’t as unreliable as people say. it’s just that when they die, THEY DIE. Mine made it through 1 fire and 180,000 miles.
2) I couldn’t care less about fuel economy, that’s why I like rotaries.
3) OH BOI LOOG AD MUH TORQUE :DDD. Nobody cares about your torque when you still make next to no horsepower.

Authoritarianism at its finest. RIP due process of law, it was nice knowing you.

Holy crap that’s insane!

>The motor alone is worth 1200 min.
I knew you TDI guys were insane, but this. This is just retarded. 1200 for a diesel four banger? Have you ever taken the time to just sit down and think about what you’re getting for your money? You should know you have a problem when even us rotary freaks think you’re wasting money.

SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT

GET IT TOGETHER NISSAN!

If it makes you feel any better, I wouldn’t buy any car of this vintage in this kind of shape. The fact that it’s a FIAT is just icing on the cake.

FIATs suffered from questionable handiwork when they were still in the factory being assembled, let alone the questionable work that’s probably been done to this girl since then.
(Time + Rust + bad body + probably not good underneath + it’s a FIAT) * 1300 dollars = CP

It’s a 70's Fiat, there IS something terribly wrong underneath.

I’m now going to drive to my friend’s house, pull that tool out of his trunk, and beat him with it thoroughly. 2.5 hours man, 2.5 HOURS.

So you never replaced your spark plugs, a HELLISH task in the 300zx.

But the engines in those cars are PAIN to work on. Sure my Mazda gets mad when you think about removing the dash, but at least it’s easy to work on underhood.

I’ve always heard it pronounced “pren-DULL” not “purndil”. interesting.
ALSO
Help me crusade for NPLDR or “nipple-durr”. I promise that having the neutral above the park will result in only a couple fatalities, and it’s totally worth it for the acronym.

3rd Gear: Ralph Nader In The Automotive Hall Of Fame

Replacing the dash on ANY Japanese car of this vintage is not easy. The Japanese used to make them out of plastics I can only call “BRITTLE, INCARNATE” and the guys in the factory installing them must have been yoga masters.

Was there a rotary out there? No? Another shitty Le Mans then...

Rotors > life > Pistons

Rear end shouldn’t be a huge problem, transmissions are what tends to fail an the NA RX-7s. Also why did we never get the turbo vert? The US seems like it would have been the perfect market for it.

Me and some friends built a hardtop EFI SBC car for ChumpCar and we had it weighed. Weight distribution was 54/46. Draw conclusions from this where you will.

I’ll give you that no AC sucks, but it’s a drop top so you don’t really need it. Also as a bit of an FC RX-7 aficionado and as someone who has driven one with a big 70's SBC under the hood and no power steering I can guarantee you that a manual rack is not a problem. These things turn like the whole steering system is
