not to get all simmonsy here but yeah the dutch were underranked in the previous list but are probably overranked now. mexico and costa rica in the first two knockout games were probably as easy a path to the semis that a team could have.

minihane more like mini-brain!!! reusing this joke constitutes theft

thank's

well with point 2 now you're just opening yourself up to a nature vs nurture debate on whether shittiness in a person is hardcoded or not. im going to go with *shuffles papers around* no

i love ronaldo, too, but 1) this is obviously not a serious list after the top 10 or so and 2) the comments of a lot of people already harped on the ronaldo-ribbing in the messi article from early today when he was called "unquestionably the best player in the world."

sometimes i do not know what is worse, the guy making the "take my wife, please" joke a lot or the people who think "take my wife, please" is a joke worth complaining about a lot

part of the reason neuer didn't see as many shots as howard is because neuer was sweeping his own back line, though.

no way neuer is that far down. just because he didn't have to make many big saves doesn't mean he didn't have much to do. no one played keeper in any way that came close to resembling how neuer did this tournament.

twellman making the good point during the half that the concussion protocol is supposed to include a test that takes about six minutes and mascherano came back in two and a half.

chile has a very, very good box-to-box guy in arturo vidal, and advanced out of a group that had holland and spain. they're good and playing in south america was even better for them.

is germany really considered the underdog and brazil the favorite? i know nate silver says brazil has a so-and-so advantage to advance, but it seems like the eye test from all the pundits (or at least a majority of them) favors germany.

I lovbe New York Yankee

oh yeah, i figured you had yedlin and green on the wings there, i was just more or less agreeing. so not really adding anything to the conversation i guess.

i think the diamond is the best bet at this point. move mix up to the top of the diamond and bradley back to where he belongs in the back.

for those without insider:

thank's for the tip

you are right, that was the one i replied to

could have said "couldn't of" better tho

i think you're absolutely right, and it would have been completely warranted. and i say this as someone who wasn't all that upset to see beckerman left out when the lineup was announced.

i think fab going down and forcing a sub early kind of fucked up whatever plans JK had for his subs. especially since yedlin had in the prior games been a bit of a super sub playing farther up the field than he normally does.
