“I come from the poor people.” Is that like saying, “I have black friends”?

Damn. We’re so fucked.

There are still people arguing that trickle down works, I fear for our future that people remain this uneducated and can still vote.

How many times can the GOP get outraged at liberals for calling them out on the things they are totally doing? Fuck Orrin Hatch and every other GOPer who pretends like they give one solitary fuck about anything other than their donors and keeping down poor/black/brown people.

My opinion is taking that context from his statement is a friggin’ reach. You’re trying too hard to find a little hate (or pandering to hate) and I don’t feel like it’s there at all. You can be a minority and also be an ordinary American. These things aren’t mutually exclusive.

Stop this! No one is asking for perfection. We’re asking would you please, Mr./Mrs. Candidate stop pandering to people who think your base is made up of lazy, worthless, colored people whose lives don’t matter. That’s actually the least we can ask for from a “progressive” candidate - the very least.
