I didn't like Merantau at all. Talky and the action felt really lightweight. I'm rabidly anticipating The Raid, however - when it'll get to Tampa is anyone's guess.

"Piece of trash?" Man, with objectivity like that they should hit you up for these reviews!

I'm only just past the first apartment bit but it's appreciably, increasingly eerie so far. Roaming the streets is legitimately tense - I've got combat on medium and puzzles on hard. Seems like a good mix; running away is a good strategy, though. Giving me a Haunting Ground flavor.

Yes. Shattered Memories was born of a million gripes about the combat, so I'm guessing the reviewer loved it?

The combat threw me at first, but if you think of Murphy's run as a dodge it becomes more tolerable. It's not fun, per se, but neither was the combat in any of the other games. I'm liking the game more and more as I go on; there's some creepy stuff and I am fairly curious about the direction the story's going in. The

You know what would've made Born to Die listenable? Actually listening to the damn album.

I was going off their female membership - perhaps disingenuously implying that Devil's Blood/Blood Ceremony/Bloody Blood Blood are using their female members for attention. They're not. It was just a lazy way to categorize them.

Listening to the album I did immediately regret putting them in that category. Conceded!

"Alan, wake up!"

I had to go to the lyrics sheet for that one, and I *think* they're talking about the opening lines: "The hollow at night, a blood swollen moon/An organ-grinder, his chimp churn out of tune." I'm seeing three references there. I guess there could be more, but I (no surprise) disagree with that review wholeheartedly,

I've been blasting this all day and it's starting to sound like Cursive's best since The Ugly Organ. The riffs are chunky and dense like Happy Hollow but have the dissonant, jarring edge of Domestica. Kasher's vocals are understandably less harsh than on past records but there are a few moments of throat-shredding

The King of All Cosmos is all about a full package.

Someone should go over the first few hours of that game and make it really adaptive and fluid; the feeling you get from being pursued (the first few times) is awesomely unnerving and could benefit from some polishing. True for the whole game, I guess, but the opening in Innsmouth is really creepy. And frustrating, of

I've been playing through Zero again on the Gamecube and there's definitely a lot of dropping items, running past zombies, and waiting until the last possible second to use herbs. I wouldn't be so bold as to call it fun, but I do appreciate the limitations in survival horror of that vintage.

Yeah. I was really on the edge of my seat for a Poly Styrene shout-out at the Grammys.

"Revelation's" is throwing me off. The title's plural! But otherwise this is a pretty good review - I like the breakdown of how the game works with the Circle Pad Pro and the concessions-turned-improvements of the handheld format.

She did also say that white people are no longer racist, and that the use of the n-word in rap is the real source of oppression.

Girl in class today suggested - nay, declared - that "That shit cray" is a reference to the brothers Kray and that this song has "deeper meaning" if you're intrepid enough to search for it.

I mean…a TV crew these days would definitely be rolling with HD cameras, for what it's worth.
