Well, looks like I will be using Lyft.

There is nothing worse than a business that forces its customers to participate in its ideology. This crap gets photographers and bakers sued into the ground. That door, folks, swings both ways.

Indeed. It baffles me that someone would establish a rule or law that jeopardizes someone else’s personal safety and expect them to abide by it. Crazy.

Not the smart drivers.

You think people actually want to talk to their driver? Or anyone while they’re riding in a stranger’s car? No, they don’t. The customary practice is you fuck around on your phone until the ride is over. I think this is pretty much mutually understood between rider and driver.

They do care - very much. They prohibit drivers from carrying a firearm their own vehicle to protect themselves.

What a bunch of assholes.

There is no such thing as “Gun Violence”, there is just Violence. It hasn’t changed one bit since the dawn of time.

Now playing

Didn’t an Uber driver go on a shooting spree? And didn’t Uber fail to make any changes to their background checks as a result? It certainly feels like they care only when it's convenient to do so for publicity reasons, such as when they are facing lawsuit after lawsuit, and assault charge after assault charge.

This is just a daft way of shoving an agenda down thier customers throat. You can get a message across without holding people hostage and forcing the issue.

I pay you for a ride, not your political BS. Shut up and take me home. Otherwise Lyft, here I come.

More SHOVE IT in the face of consumers. Sorry, uninstalled the app. I’ll just drive myself, have a friend, or take a cab. Leave me the hell alone with all of the social justice garbage.

I didn’t really need another reason to not use Uber, but it is nice to have a few extra reasons just in case.

As nice as this sounds, it’d be better for companies not to get involved in politics. Better for their employees and better for broad society.
