@Bob Loblaw: Besides...he's too busy sitting in a Phoenix courtroom to do anything about it today.

(unfunny stuff coming)

I will only listen if she's wearing a peasant's top from a Renaissance Fair.

The fact that he's going to be in my neck of the woods for part of that therapy makes me wish I could do something, just as a stupid fan's thank you.

@HockeyMountain: Ken Daniels is who you're referring to, but Mickey's just an old time hockey player regardless of the jersey.

It's a *tremendous* worst loss of the season.

My favorite Kell story: For a good portion of Kell's broadcasting career, the games ran on WDIV, channel 4. At one time, WDIV named its 11:00 pm newscasts "News Four Tonight." Kell sometimes struggled with how to pronounce the program during in-game station promos. Instead of pronouncing it as three words with a pause

"Is there anyone working that didn't have a c-section?"

@Yostal: +1. I'm assuming you'll be at barn on Saturday, sir?

@Pornstars-for-Wilbon: You've inferred the wrong definition. The use of "only" in this case is implying that it's an extremely rare thing, not that it something that is happening less often than it logically should.

@Yinka Double Dare: Yeah, Yinka...the initial reports implied 'twas a U-M parent, but after I posted I saw the article that actually identified the person.

Was at the game, directly across from the ice upstairs in the club level when it happened, and lemme tell you: it was scary enough to watch live. When Tropp gave him the two-hander, there was a terrifying gasp. When we figured out it was Kampfer and that he wasn't moving, I thought for only the second time in my life

Boy, just when you think Bud Selig couldn't cock a game up more than the 2002 ASG. At least that game didn't count. Or at least it was written on the field.

With the caveat that I'm a Cubs fan:

@Larry Horse: Because if you have a noon ET start and a 3:30 pm ET start, it'd be nice to be able to show the entirety of the noon game before the 3:30 one gets underway. And if you're watching a great game that doesn't involve your team at noon, and your team plays at 3:30, now that does kinda make you say, "Well,

I was invited into this party by Will two-and-a-half years ago, and I've rarely commented because (a) I'm not nearly as funny as most, (b) more often than not, I tend to be serious in my posting because that's the way my brain works when I write, and (c) I've often realized mid-writing that what I post isn't worth
