Drugs detected on a toxicology screen probably aren’t by themselves the problem. Anything illicit in her system besides THC would have long since metabolized and likely been completely excreted.  The issue is that... certain infections tend to be present in a higher frequency anongst people who abuse drugs. Now, to

Let me just shout out that food in Germany is mostly excellent, generally much better than in the US at the equivalent price level. The flavors aren’t overwhelming, but they blend together very nicely, and texture is usually given as much attention as flavor. Even if you don’t like the pork-heavy stereotypes of the

I like potato chips. They’re a simple, easy to eat pleasure. None of the flavors are particularly subtle or any great revelation on the mixing of different seasonings. I don’t eat potato chips with the same expectations I would at a 3-star Michelin restaurant. Some potato chip brands are also clearly better made than

Both have a very short half-lives. The metabolites can linger longer, but these are inactive.

And/or using speed cameras much more than we already do.

Fentanyl is also used during anesthesia.

I personally witnessed a very high speed crash on the A6 Autobahn in Germany once. That velocity squared effect was visibly evident. The two cars practically exploded on impact.  I’ve never seen anything like it before or since.

House was also full of this. I fully understand that very few of the viewers would know the reasons for any given blood test, but no physician in real life says to their colleagues things like “I think we should check a complete blood count for signs of infection and anemia.”

These things started in the 70s and 80s?  I don’t remember ever seeing one at a McDonald’s until maybe the 90s, when I was already much too old for them.

Under this scenario, Miller must have heard that Zaslav keeps a particularly good stash of booze in his house.

Try sprinkling a handful of instant mashed potato flakes into your mouth and you’ll have experienced these horrendous fries without the cooking time.”

Check police blotters, that will tell you Miller’s whereabouts.

Would this thing work with raclette?

Most people who have read that book would probably agree with your sentiment. Especially reading it after seeing the film.

Geez, back off, I’m just complimenting two examples where the text was well written and not confusing on an issue that has resulted in unclear writing in the recent past when not so well done.  The BBC article I referenced does use non-binary pronouns, but does so in a way that is easy to understand the flow of the

Michael Keaton is still in it, right?

I’m just pointing out that putting a little more thought and effort into how these articles are written can respect the preferred use of the pronouns and be clearly written for the reader. The BBC article does it particularly well.

This and a related article on the BBC were the first Ezra Miller stories I’ve read where the awkward use of pronouns didn’t make the text confusing to understand.

I had never heard of that film until I read your comment, and now I’ve seen clips on Youtube.  Holy crap, that looks dark!

I don’t remember, did we actually see the school in that film?
