You’re probably right there. I’ve never really found myself invested in any one particular ecosystem too much as I find it easier to just use 3rd party apps for nearly everything that isn’t on both platforms. Makes it easier to switch from one platform to the other if I ever need to do it.

I actually agree with you almost entirely.

Just because it says that, it doesn’t make it true.

That is a survey from developers. The survey you just linked states only about 57% of developers even think that piracy is a problem for their business. And that is merely their opinion. I would argue that most developers businesses tank because developers typically have no idea how to properly run a business and

and pirating a digital file is a bit different than stealing a ferrari, no?

“Good job there, buddy. But people lose jobs when their product loses sales, whether that product is physical, digital, or otherwise. Stealing is stealing in any form.”

Same here. My family comes to me every time their iPad/iPhones mess up. I will never forget an iOS update a few years back that resulted in a prompt for security codes on devices that had no security codes programmed into the device.

So why couldn’t you do that on Android? At least with android you have drag and drop and can quickly manage your files on a PC. iOS is awful for ease of use unless you don’t do anything but open up apps. iOS doesn’t even have a dedicated back button. And yea, I’ve owned iOS devices as well.

Android is much easier to use than iOS. You have to go out of your way to do something as simple as getting a photo or video off an iPhone. Android? Drag and drop. No problem. Use cloud? You can do that just as easy on android.
