I understand this so much. Since becoming a dad I can’t fathom allowing my kid to do what other parents do. I’m terrified when other people’s kids come to my house, but I’m not terrified of my own because I know they’re disciplined and I know I won’t let them get away with crap. I let my son run around with an old 360 contoller. I took the battery out so there’s no worry there and he loves it. He’ll pretend to play games next to me and even carry it around throughout the day just hitting the buttons and smiling.
