I hope so. Hilary Duff's son is older than little Seaweed though so that is what confuses me a little bit.

Not at all, you are right parenting classes are a good idea. And if it's the parenting class you describe I think it's great of them to do it.

My husband recently told me about snapchat and my brain exploded because I couldn't believe there was yet another medium through which people can expose themselves to the world. Because instagram and twitter and facebook just aren't enough.

OMG. I didn't even read it closely and thought it was the channel until I read your comment. So. Yah to what that says about me.

What, celebrities go to parenting classes? What does that involve? I thought they just had their nannies raise their kids. Are these classes actually about how to train your nanny to raise your children? Or do these classes train them on the right moment to take their kids out in public alone - i.e. after being fed,

Well, YA books are what get the most attention and publicity lately, and I don't have the leisure time like I used to to search for good books to read, so I do tend to read more YA than I used to now as an adult. I probably read less YA when I was a YA.

HAHA. I can see that happening to me. My only plan is to have my baby in a hospital. But oh no... no.. even that is too much planning. HA!

OMG I know right? Depending on what I"m wearing I either get "Wow you're really huge already" or "omg you look so tiny"

Totally agree with you. I am excited to have a baby, I am not excited about being pregnant. But I'm willing to do it because of what is hopefully a positive safe arrival of my baby.

I think the exact same thing actually. Although there are pregnant people who look that way but they don't consist of the majority on the population.

It really is an effective way to avoid weird random conversation. Even if they think you're rude. Which is fine with me!

It's always nice to have someone you know and trust personally in the room with you. If my Mom had that experience, I'd want her in there also. :)

Indeed, I would too.

I totally want this shirt.

I know I'm going to be that person. But for a pregnant person, this model is still skinny. And I feel like this shirt is just an obnoxious way of pointing that out and trying to get people to go "oh no, you look great" blah blah blah.

I'm not sure I really understand what experience people expect to have when giving birth... is the end point not to have the baby there with you safe and sound at the end of it all?

I have decided, hopefully after this baby arrives safe and sound. The first things I want to eat are bagels with lox and cream cheese and a banh mi (headcheese and all)

Re your comment on This Old House... "I didn't realize this was still on the air, and I haven't watched it since I was a child, but I remember it being very soothing. "

You made me laugh and spit out my water.

I'm glad to hear that. And that is totally how I would feel if I had been in your shoes. I don't want to enter obsessive stalker territory. I'm content to be a huge admirer from afar.
