There are still a lot of people who are bothered by “fuck,” and they disproportionately represent new car buyers (read: old people).

I guess the car couldn’t get past Subaru’s

Those other acronyms are offensive to people. FUCKS on the other hand ...... is pretty much how we all got here.

Just to be clear, Subaru has no FUCKS to give.

I don’t think this is accurate. Almost all the reviews I’ve seen of the SPA and CMA platform vehicles have been positive. The XC40, 60 and 90 have won many awards (FWIW).  Dealers can't keep the XC40 in stock and the XC90 just had its best sales year ever.

Pre-SPA platform launch, Volvo sold 56,366 cars annually in the US. That had increased to 108,234 by 2019.

I mean, we are fucked, but we do have a solution. We just aren’t implementing it fast enough.

Wow. So many things to unwrap here.

US: We better replace this carcinogenic compound with something cheap and readily available, ethanol.

“This airplane is designed by clowns, who in turn are supervised by monkeys,”

I am by no means a market expert but I think given the coming downturn its prudent for Jag to solidify its core audience via ownership perks and service while also building a brand that emphasizes its non-conformity to current luxury brands.

It’s weird to see that generation F-Series updated with an 80s/early 90s grille, badge and hubcaps.

I think the Cherokee is suffering because they made the Compass too good... it looks like a baby Grand Cherokee.  The Cherokee’s face lift was a massive improvement but I think Jeep has too many models overlapping the same target buyers- Cherokee, Compass, Renegade.

Nooo stop stop, its only the EV subsidies that are bad, remember? Oil and Corn subsidies are vital to the clean air (we all know climate  change  is fake) and spur the economy. Over-cultivation is a myth and fracking does nothing to groundwater or increased earthquake frequency.

I think it took a few years for the car industry to become completely committed to gasoline. If I try to put myself in the shoes of an engineer 100-120 years ago, it doesn’t seem obvious that one specific petroleum distillate must be the best way to fuel all cars. That world was already full of steam engines; Benz’s

But the Subaru cotton candy smell comes from the Subaru drivers, not the cars themselves.

you’re thinking of Subaru

Literally everything about this concept is a bad idea. The only thing more difficult than Level 5 autonomy is a system that analyses the driver and tries to seamlessly switch between all 5 levels. Plus you can manually switch levels by stroking the steering wheel? That could not be more confusing. Don’t even get me

And we’ll call it ADD.
