We can only assume Subaru has no more FUCKS to give at this point.

Indeed, eScooters are decimating millennials at an alarming rate. Who needs life expectancy when you can live in a society with virtually zero business regulation. In the US, Live Free or Die” is turning into “Live Free and Die Young”.

An STI engine swap would, of course, be neat but I’m just happy with the blue lighting if I’m honest.

Yuck, that grill is too small for me. I need like 3 times that size. Thats what I keep telling manufacturers in all the focus groups I attend. So far I think its working.

I think if I were to buy/lease a Korean luxury sedan I would go with the Genesis G90. Better looking exterior/interior and definitely has a better overall driving experience.

And there have been many instances of card skimmers installed on pumps, which cost the credit card companies millions of $.

Gas stations have had years to implement chip readers. I’m sure Visa and Mastercard are tired of their bullshit excuses at this point.

It’s hard to have any sympathy for the operators since the rest of the world has been using chips for 20 years at this point - it’s just a failure to invest because the consumer pays the price of cleaning up after their card is skimmed.

I’d say that Wealth Gap is certainly a contributing factor. Money and cost-of-living is certainly leading to more depression and domestic issues. More than ever, we have a struggling middle class that works its ass off, yet has growing debt, shrinking benefits, and worsening quality of life.

Mr. 3008 over here...

I hardly use a card anymore when getting gas. I look for a Mobil or Shell with a reasonable price and use the app on my phone or built into my Buick’s infotainment. You just tell the app which pump you are at and pump.

What on earth could possibly be driving me to drink? Maybe it has something to do with the rich getting richer, and the majority being ruled by minority, maybe. Just a guess. I like beer.

I agree and, I hate to make the comparison, but they’re in more of a Tesla Motors situation here as a tech company that just happens to make cars as opposed to the other way around. They’re not looking to push car tech so much as they’re looking to push tech itself while using an automobile as a form factor.

Which I suspect is why Sony partnered with Magna-Steyr and Bosch. Though you probably didn’t bother to actually read that far into the article.

I don’t think it’s possible for a car to be way ahead of its time with how pervasive they are and how much competition there is.

All three companies involved are highly respected and capable. If Tesla can build cars those three for sure can, probably much better.

So it looks like Sony is trying to outdo Microsoft by producing a car that will forever be exclusive to Gran Turismo, and not Forza.

Car companies + “Tech is easy, building cars is hard” = Cadillac CUE

If your Sony car dies, does that make it a Walkman?
