Excuse me, but where do you get your medical knowledge? I have seen horrid bruises on people (and dead bodies) that were not the result of criminal activity. I am a former prosecutor (see screen name) who has prosecuted many domestic violence cases, so I do think I have some perspective/experience with this sort of thing from a legal perspective. And no, I don’t now do criminal defense work, except for DUI’s and small drug cases.

I’m going to get super-blasted for this, but I believe its fair (since fair is a big deal on here) to state that we, as the public, will likely never know the truth of this incident. As a person who has unfortunately saw two of these incidents happen, the truth often lies in the middle of both accounts.

I supported the whole crusade against Kevin Johnson, but it’s kind of scary to think that situation gave Deadspin confidence it could succeed against any public figure with whom it found undesirable.
