Been really enjoying this lately. Mira is a hit-or-miss presence on the Nerdist, but this makes good, concentrated use of his energy.

Tuff Turf set the bar high and early, and might be my most-played episode in the show's history.

I'm not caught up, but judging by the grades, Masters of Sex could make it.

That's a good call. If it were a random grab bag of tracks it wouldn't matter, but these are so integral to the setting of this movie that hearing them in context will make a bigger impact.

I did nearly the same, listening to Breuer just after the Fogelnest episode. I've generally liked McKay's work and most of interviews I've seen with him, but he's never seemed like the most naturally genial of personalities ( though I also don't think Breuer is above embellishing details when he tells stories).

Given that he has his hand in SNL (the network's lone ratings highlight), Fallon's show and Seth Meyer's upcoming show, I don't think that's going to happen.

"These robots don't chop shit!"

Fantastic movie. What makes it for me is how deeply unsettling the entire setup is, even before the supernatural elements come in to play.

Sell Out makes a strong running as one of my favorite Side 1s of any album.

Whoa.

That monster's gonna give me nightmares.
