You seem to have misunderstood the meaning of this.

If your ethics and morality depend upon the other guy doing the right thing first, then you have neither ethics nor morality.

As other commenters have graciously pointed out, that is not a “little thing.” If you thought that you wouldn’t have come here to say this in such a manner to begin with.

Perhaps if the Olympics took the same stance with Trump that the ancient Olympics did with Rome’s Emperor Nero: give him the gold medal for every event he enters, and to be safe, give him the gold medal for every event he doesn’t enter, too.

I am somewhat relieved to hear this is pretty good. The last season wasn’t terrible, but it was kind of running on fumes. Hopefully three years off gave them a recharge, and they roll one of these out every year or so.

What does that have to do with it? If Jeff Bezos is known for being anti-free media in some way, I had no idea, but even so he seems to have been largely pretty hands-off with the Washington Post.

My own suspicion is that most people calling chain pizza “garbage” couldn’t distinguish it from pizza of the same type from whatever local joint they prefer in a true blind taste test.
