Isn't it easier to use Kinect and your own body for this kind of posing at this point? Not to mention cheaper.

The faces in the video appear as caricatures of themselves. My theory then is that the brain uses data from peripheral vision first to try to recognise the most obvious features first, when trying to recognise the image. To save bandwith, basically, because there is so much data we get from the peripheria.

My absolute favourite for the past year has been [www.mplayer-ww.com] because it plays all, runs from USB if need be and with the simple skin looks more minimal than Media Player Classic.

It was a maps labs feature before the latest redesign. It made goo.gl shortened addresses and yes, I was just wondering the other day where it had disappeared.

Same for me, I've been using Notepad2 as a notepad replacement for like 5 years by now. It's fast with no bloat and looks perfectly minimal if you turn the toolbar off.

It's certainly different. But damn.. -20 points for ergonomics.

@LazyPanda: That's why I said it's an interesting resource.. :P

I need a tablet I can draw with. The EEE Pad is close in all other respects apart from the battery. This would be perfect at ~500€:

It's amazing for drawing reference.

@k-napped: Likewise. I bought my Nintendo DS because it's the cheapest option for digital drawing (using Colors DS - [colors.collectingsmiles.com]), although the screen size isn't exactly comfortable.

I quickly designed myself a calendar to apply the method.
