My personal favorite group of idiots who commented on it were the self congratulatory ones who, despite missing the joke entirely, were happy to let the world know that they knew dinosaurs were extinct.

Actually, he paid $20,000 to be in "A Song of Ice and Fire" book.

1) Stop blaming a show for sticking to a story to which it is bound.
2) If you dislike Jon Snow, might as well quit watching.

Well, as viewers would generally like to know who the fuck killed him, yes. Not expository when it furthers the plot.

Well, Cersei seems to be over it, maybe the viewers should follow suit.

"Please, please, please" stop applying real world western viewpoints to a fictional medieval world.
You clearly misinterpreted the scene.

They didn't kill Benjen.

Okay, so it wasn't. You completely missed the point. A lot of idiots discuss the show as if it involves or happened in our history, which is irritating. Almost as irritating as having to explain the obvious.

You're not taking into account extras. A rape happened in last night's episode and no one has uttered a goddamned word about it because it was one of Craster's daughter/wives and the vast majority of people on the soapbox about this let those (and other horrific moments like those) slide.

Cersei as a character seems like she'd gladly claw the eyes out of whoever truly threatened her, but you all go ahead and stay agitated at the fictional actions of fictional characters.

… I hope that was a joke.

That all you got? Must be nice to not have any real problems.

It betrays you very much.

Be that as it may, that isn't what most seem angry about.

Is consensual incest, in a church, practically on top of the corpse of their serial killer, inbred child really all that much less disturbing?

Nothing that comes before the word "but" really counts.
Benjen Stark

It does. No one notices because they're too tuned out to care if it doesn't involve a primary character, proving how much more idiotic this entire discourse is.

We've had MANY RAPES in this show.

Can any of you read? I'm arguing what the director said he intended, not my godforsaken opinion.
Moreover, she's obviously not above screwing him, as they have 3 bastard children. "This is wrong" was obviously about having sex in a church basically on top of the corpse of their eldest bastard kid.

That was the idea. Surprised more people aren't on a soapbox about that.
