1) Trio of dudes tries to break into the pop music landscape unsuccessfully.

I think Taylor hates Kendall’s living breathing guts. Like, HATE. But she cannot say anything and has to play along and get her up on her tour stage because not to bring her up would have been a scandal. I mean, she was bringing up every famous woman alive, if she had left Kendall out tabloids/social media would have

When asked if she’d heard from Taylor since then, Kim’s neck behaved like her face and barely moved while she said nothing

This was the best episode and better win the writing Emmy.

No one cares about Dev and Francesca!

The whole in love/not in love with the engaged girl made me crazy. It ruined the pace of the series and just brought everything to a stop. I could only watch them be syrupy cute for so long before it made me want to fast forward. The whole thing was such a stupid trope it made for hard viewing.

I love discussing history’s worst smells. Although this stank fest sounds dreadful, at least people were allowed to leave. I think Newgate prison and steerage in a ship still hold their places in my “oops I accidentally time-travelled and am odour sensitive” nightmares.

Dev’s story arc is so meh! Like, enough with you and your white women lol!

it’s almost like victorian times sucked and people should stop romanticizing it

I wish this was being released around Christmas, it feels more like a holiday movie than a dog days of summer release...seems poorly timed. That said I LOVED The Glass Castle and the follow up book...something about horses? Half Broke Horses? It was about her mother’s childhood I think.

Yeah this episode (Thanksgiving) and the one about the other NYers story were my favorite. Is it weird that I love this show most when its not about Dev? Its the same with Unbreakable KimmySmidt, I watch 90% for Tituss.

That was a great read. THANK you for this, Britni.

I was raped as a first semester freshman in college and it was my English 101 teacher (a temp employee and someone I’d known for only a week) who was the one who noticed the change in my behavior and asked the questions that I needed to be asked. She was the first one I told and the one who helped me move forward and

Understood based on what? Are you just pulling that out of thin air or do you have something to back it up?

You must come from a family of non-toxic people.

I don’t think they could put all the terrible stuff in the trailer, because it would be very hard to sell. I think the scene that sums up the mother perfectly is eating that god damn chocolate bar while her kids are starving and then lying about it. I hope they put that in the movie.

The tone changes as she gets older. It’s rosier when she was young and gets darker and much less romantic as it progresses. By the time they’re in WV, she’s realizing how fucked it all is.

I’m a little worried by how forgiving the trailer is

It really is a great book - one of those “AH HA! Everyone has parents with issues - thank GOD mine weren’t THIS bad!” epiphany type books.

Ok, as a Disney person, there is an apartment in Disneyland, called the Disney Dream Suite, that VIPs and Disney big-wigs can stay at, that does have all sorts of cool, magical things that happen like twinkling star lights over the bathtub and pictures that come to life. So it sounds like Rebel got to stay in the
