I finally got around to watching 'Last House On The Left' a few years ago after hearing about how it's such a classic for decades, and, holy shit, is that movie awful. I think it's one of those movies that has that one iconic scene everyone remembers but they completely forget about everything else in the movie and,…

It takes a long time to get your shit together to file a lawsuit.

"Poor Karen" is right. I always feel bad for her. What really sucks is that Pam and Karen could've been great friends if it weren't for Jim.

If ever there was a time to try for a threesome, that was it.

That's what people say and the people are right.

It seemed like a good idea, but it really doesn't go anywhere. In the end, the only thing that was gained was that Ryan was back, and, really, who gives a shit about Ryan at that point?

Season 4 is a really mixed bag. Some of it's great ('Dinner Party' is fantastic), but then you get dumb stuff like Michael driving off the pier. It is the season when the show started going downhill, but there's still quite a lot of good stuff in it.

It's really an awful movie. It only had one character in it and he dies fifteen minutes in. I guess a movie can get by no plot or characters if the action is great, but, like you said, all it does is tease.

Who else saw 'Scanners' and 'The Fury' as a kid and constantly gets them mixed up?

It was on cable last year and I watched it. I hadn't seen it in a very long time. It was pretty dull, really.

I feel bad for people that can't go 'Holy shit, he was a ghost!' or 'Holy shit! Darth Vader is Luke's dad!'. I, myself, never got to experience the 'Holy shit! That chick is a dude!' moment when watching "The Crying Game".

Naked Lunch

'Tyrant' was bad? It looked pretty interesting. 'The Strain' was a stain. I agree with that. 'The Leftovers' looked stupid, so I didn't bother.

I hear you. I try and wait for the first season to be done and see how it panned out. Sometimes, two. I've jumped into too many shows that were great and got cancelled or started off great and turned to complete crap.

"Jimmy and Gretchen are awful in the sense that they are cynical and selfish—rather than cartoonish and sociopathic"

It really boils down to arrogance. These arrogant filmmakers think that everything they make is genius and can't cut scenes out of their movies because they think it's all gold. Bloated movies are the result of bloated egos.

I agree. I also think that no TV show should go past five seasons and most shouldn't go past three.

'Seven Samurai' is too damn long, so, you're denial is DENIED.

You mean people actually write these fucking movies?!

No, it needed to end already.
