My son (college soph) says that most of his friends listen exclusively to classic rock (which on radio has grown to encompass bands on the basis of fashion and stagecraft more than by chronology. Steppenwolf, Nirvana, and (i don't know…) Father John Misty, maybe, are all substitutable goods in their ears.
