I for one do not want universal safety standards, because the standards will have to conform to the nanniest states, e.g. standard rear-view cameras, blind spot monitoring, lane departure, auto-stop, etc. All things that I do not want on my vehicle. This is just my opinion on the matter, I’m open to discussion.
