If the mechanic hands you a contract that says he is “not responsible for damage while on the premises” and “’damages’, ‘responsible’ and ‘premises’ will be determined at the sole discretion of the mechanic”, and you AGREE to these terms by signing the contract, then yes, it’s VERY similar and you’re probably fucked.

HOA contracts often have clauses that allow the HOA to interpret it's own bylaws. Some are even using forced arbitration now. Courts don't exist to enforce fairness, they enforce contract terms, even when they are very lopsided.

Yea, i did the same thing for about 5 years. First 3ish were glorious because we had great renters. Then not great renters. They had a clean credit record, references, etc. But about 6 months in i noticed more cars regularly parking there, more people seemed to be living there, etc. Rent would come a little late, or…

I agree that a bunch of rich assholes paying a ton of money to watch animals sling mud at each other shouldn’t get national attention, but you can’t blame the media for covering a Trump fundraiser.

The best way is to not hide it. Secret compartment? Bad idea. They are looking for weapons and bombs not drugs. A baggie doesn’t look like much in a shaving kit. But a hollow container made to look like an ice tea can? A can you can’t even have cause your limited to 3 ounces? It’s going to get a second look.

You gotta feel for the guy.  I mean, everyone else is standing around in relatively normal gear, and he’s constantly wearing some stupid mocap outfit standing on a scissor lift or something.  He probably has no idea what’s going on in relatively normal scenes anyway.
