Well, i love the whole “These things are fleet killers!” - the rest of the movie they discover the rebels DON’T HAVE A FLEET. They legit have 3 ships left, and no one is answering their calls. Don’t really have to worry about those fleet killers, do you?

i loved that she stayed behind because “someone needs to fly the ship”, and then she stands on the bridge staring out the window while the ship fly’s itself and her friends are getting blown up.

She was a victim of something the new series is doing a LOT. Telling instead of showing. “She’s a great commander, remember her blah blah blah at the blah blah blah?” Same with Snoke. You can’t just tell us these people are something. You need to show us.

Hyperspace was precise enough for Finn to hyperspace back perfectly on spot to dodge the imperial sensor systems. Hyperspace was accurate enough for the imperial fleet to follow and drop out of hyperspace right ontop of the rebel ships within firing range. Why not call in a few more capital ships. You’re telling me

what? Why would we need scenes with Luke and Finn?

What were those things? I didn’t see anything exciting explored. Maybe a line or two of Luke’s about the force, a little bit about there being a military industrial complex not owned by the Empire (which was TOLD to us, not shown), but those scenes weren’t the problem. Did I need scenes of Luke fishing, milking a cow,

I don’t care about fuel gauges or strategy when it’s used to setup something cool. But this was the equivalent of Grampa outrunning the police is a 72 Cadillac going 35 with his blinker on. Who the hell thinks an exciting Star Wars plot is a shit incredibly slowly driving in front of a couple star destroyers.

I am confused, where are the “original” parts. Yes, they repeatedly told us they were tossing out the old, but where is the new? Most of the other stuff seemed pretty standard. The closest thing to new I saw was a military industrial complex and class warfare that wasn’t really shown before, which was a sideplot that

Ahem:

hmmm. fair. His second time using a lightsaber, but his first light saber duel.

Normally I hate this joke, but its a really smart usage of it. Well done.

Obviously, he needed to make some leaps to get to the awesome main plot: A slow speed chase to nowhere.

Ok. then why should I care about his betrayal/death?

Palpatine had the most badass villain of all time kneeling to him as a setup, and then spent an entire movie chewing the shit out of every piece of scenery. And let’s not forget that Palpatine’s death is awesome because it’s the end of Vader’s arc. This is the middle(?) or Kylo’s arc, a person we’ve seen fail at

Oh, im not disagreeing with you at all. I think you’re right. I’m just saying that from the moment Ben hits the line, it’s clear that it’s going pear shaped. He needs to bail out when he looks around and sees how unprepared his team is, and how prepared NE is.

You could IF the team was expecting to run a play (they clearly were not). That should have been figured out during that extended review time and that is on the coaches since it clearly was not. Since they weren’t prepared, it would have taken Ben about 4 seconds to call a real audible, and by then you probably only

Yea, its all or nothing. You can’t fake a spike and have only one receiver who knows the play. The defense was WAY more prepared for a fake spike than the offensive, and that should have been obvious to Ben when they lined up. I get that he had the coach in his ear, but your in control when your at the line, and if

Wait... Are you saying this is how Trump was elected?

I don’t care what your expectations are, you have no evidence of your arguments. My evidence might be imperfect, but imperfect beats absolutely nothing.

You’ve provided no facts to read, therefore i cannot read them.
