I friend lent me his copy of the Engineer’s Operating Manual for a Big Boy.

There is/was a turbo wagon at the Salvation Army across the street from my work in surprisingly good shape and in an amazing copper/champagne color. I fought off the urge to ask the price. Fortunately they have recently put up a fence, out-of-sight, out- of- mind.

That’s not a T5R, maybe not even a turbo.

Probably not gonna get a T5 for under $10K but an 850 Turbo wagon can be gotten for that. A few simple mods and you are golden. Easy to maintain with a support group like no other, just watch out for the brittle plastic bits, ugggh.
