I like the one thing this Speed TV commentator came up with; why not just set a fuel-usage limit for the cars? You basically wheel it out in giant drums and say, 'here you go, guys. Here's the only fuel you can use.' Then leave it up to the teams to figure out how to be more fuel efficient.

So like, Fernando Alonso's younger brother is hanging out in his house doing house things (not in his underwear; already I'm suspect). When he hears a noise and assumes someone is in his bushes touching themselves. Looks outside, 'oh, nevermind, it's just a high-end sports car I've never seen before. No biggie.
